Channel Angels Invests In MSP Security Startup SaaS Alerts

Channel Angels has invested in SaaS Alerts, the cybersecurity company purpose-built for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to protect and monetize their customers’ core business SaaS applications.

SaaS Alerts, led by Kaseya and Thrive veteran Jim Lippie, has raised $4.5 million through 2021 — of which more than $500,000 came from MSP owners and employees. More than a dozen of those MSP entrepreneurs invested in SaaS Alerts via Channel Angels.

SaaS Alerts has major momentum for an early stage security startup. Key business highlights for 2021 include:

  • Released General Availability of SaaS Alerts Platform

  • Expanded its partner base to more than 360 MSPs

  • Empowered MSPs to protect more than 125,000 SMB end user accounts

  • Logged over 50 million Security Events to-date

  • Launched a strategic partnership with Zomentum to help MSPs increase their cybersecurity revenue; as well as a strategic partnership with Solutions Granted to offer MSPs a multi-layered approach to SaaS cybersecurity.
